I walk in to my classes and i notice not only students chewing on their pens, but also teachers. This made me think, “People would love chewing on flavored pen caps instead of tasting crummy plastic.” Following through with my idea, I am trying to find someone that will give me a chance. The flavored pen cap would consist of flavoring (watermelon, grape, cherry, blue berry, cotton candy, banana, orange, and mint) and plastic. Its that simple.

I came up with this idea while reading a Discovery magazine once (where I go for “inspiration”), and a Popular Mechanics confirmed the idea would work a year later lol.

At the extreme-most-basic level it includes a mirror and a water powered engine (Don’t ask please, and yes it does work)...and it generates all the electricity you could possibly want (not to mention fire if you want that too for the piros out there like me =).

I don’t want to give out too many details cause this could seriously be the “renewable energy source” that everyone’s talking about.

This is one reason I want to start my own company…this is the idea of the millenium…it could work until the tribulation or the matrix happens & the computers/machines use us for fuel instead =D.

Have you ever seen those tooth brushes that charge by magnetic induction?

I built a coffe cup and coaster that works the same way. I just am trying to figure out a good way to make it microwavable, or to warn not to microwave it.

I also need to figure out how to get someone to manufacture and sell it.

Because it is cool and people would love it and I worked REALLY REALLY hard on the prototype and spent time with it that I could have been spending with my daughter. I’ve also roped a friend into this project and he has now spent a huge amount of time tweaking the design.
