go base jumping

Jumped from 40 feet into the ocean at Rick’s Cafe in Jamaica over Spring Break. So exhilarating and an overwhelming feeling of freedom combined with absolute helplessness. You have absolutely no control over what happens after you jump. You realize halfway down that frantically waving your arms at you side isn’t effective in slowing you down one bit!

I want to go skydiving next summer. It’s only $125 for the first tandem jump. I say next summer because there is too much, this summer, that’s begging for my money(mostly savings haha). Also I say “only” $125 because over the course of a year, that’s not really that much.

I did some more research and to get certified, it’s about $1500. That’s a lot, I don’t care who you are or how much time you have. So here’s the plan.
Go skydiving once. Become super good friends with one of the instructors. Have them teach me for free and get me certified.

Sounds good to me. After all, it’s what you know, it’s who you know, right?

Half to jump off a cliff and live, and half because those flying squirrel suits are just so awesome.

I have always wanted to go BASE jumping. BASE stands for building, antenna, span(bridge), and earth. If you don’t know what BASE jumping involves these things in, find out.
This is actually a pretty lofty goal. You first have to be a certified skydiver. That’s no easy task. You have to tandem jump something like 10 times or so just to jump solo. Then you have to make so many solo jumps. Thats not cheap! I’m gonna need a pretty lucrative job and a pretty generous wife to pull this off.
Even if I never get certified or anything, I really just wanna get a chute and jump off a huge cliff…after climbing it.

another thing on my list of things to do before i die. i want to base jump in manny diffrent countries.

This is definitely something I want to try out.

You know… without the crashing and dying involved.

me and my friend found the perfect place to basejump. it’s about ten miles away from Guatamala in the middle of these HUGE mountains, and at the base there is a little field. we are going to jump it next time we fly down to Nica.! which hopefully is before the end of the yr

I would love to do a base jump, I soo wanna do free falling and base jumping, i really into all that stuff. I love heights, everyone’s all like “aren’t you scared of falling from that height and being that high blablablabla” I’m soo not – I really wanna just do it the adrenaline rush would be sooo great! I have always wanted to do a free fall but I have recently been influenced by my dad’s beat m8 Russel Powell, he’s just great he does loadsa jumps and just rocks and has told me all about them, they sound amazing
