make people happy

obviously I’ve not actually given up on making people happy,

i’ve given up on trying to quality it, record it or beat myself up about it:I’m just going to be as kind and thoughtful as I can.

Actually I think this entry fits better at “a random act of kindness” but as the couple was so happy after all I just write it here… Arriving at the subway platform I saw an Italian couple looking both at a map and at the board. Poor ones, they were obviously lost and consequently stressed for, so I offered them my help to find their way. They were at the wrong platform, they speak neither French nor English but a Spanish explanation and the fact that their destination wasn’t difficult to reach (just the first train which came at the opposite platform) make things easier!!!! Happy end for a happy story =)

I belive in giving and sharing… share and give hapiness!

I’m not sure how yet. I’ve been working on my music and my poetry, and I’ve started a local band, and hopefully we’ll be able to really entertain people in our area, but if that doesn’t pan out… I plan on joining the Army as a JAG lawyer, and by defending those who defend us, make the world a little more just. Someday, maybe, I think I’d like to become a politician. But to go into it with my eyes open, and with good intentions, neither of which, I think, are things undertaken by many politicians in this day and age.

Ive tried making my depressed best friend happy all week but sadly to no avail.In fact it depresses me too when i think about how i cant do anything to cheer her up. Well, i guess happiness does come from within..Its really a choice the person has 2 make..

I’ve done it. I’ve tried it and it does not work.

Living to “make people happy” is really not a fulfilling way to live.

When I was in the people pleasing business I was miserable. Mostly because I really did not know what it took to make people happy. I did what they wanted, but because they were NOT happy with themselves, they could not be happy because of something I did.

I have since learned that happiness must come from within. It’s how you see things, not necessarily how you do things.

Since I have left the people pleasing business, I myself have become much happier. I have also attracted happy individuals to my circle.

True happiness comes from within, not from others. Therefore it is nearly impossible to “make people happy”.

Everyday, I’ve made it my goal to make at least one person smile, or laugh. Well I’ve done a extremely good job of it because more than 10 people smile/laugh because of me at least once a day.I also help out all my friends with their problems, I have become sort of like a theripist type thing, which makes me feel wonderfuly about myself that I effect people generally in a positive way.
