buy an ibook

I have to say, I’m pleased with the ibook overall. It’s not great for size of text and screen, and when it goes down it’s really down, but it’s a good little computer with very few popup problems, and it’s fast. I can live without the ‘tude of the apple store people, but I guess you can’t have everything.

Although it wasn’t a “personal challenge,” I am still THRILLED that I accomplished this goal. I’ve been wanting this iBook (from which I type this entry at this very second!) for over 2 years now, ever since I had to fork over my original back to the school district that loaned it to me (I’m a teacher.) I went to craigslist and was just putzing around when I saw this ad. Amazing. Got it for 100$ less than what it was offered for. So I spent 450, total, for my totally suped up iBook G4. My advice is to check out craigslist! I AM SO PUMPED!!! I was going to work extra this summer to have money set aside for a brand new one, but I am pumped about this. Woohoo!

I saw a listing on craigslist for an iBook g4 my fave for $550—is this considered a decent price, would you think? I’m considering it. It’s a model from ‘03, if that makes any difference.

But I bought an intel iMac, and that is close enough for me.

I got a macbook and i loooooove it!!!!!!!

While being in California in September 2005 I started considering to buy a teeny tiny Mac, an old Clamshell for a couple 100 $$ to get used to working on Macs. After comparing prices and going temporarily insane hehe I bought a refurbished iBook off Apple.com. Gotta admit I haven’t used it as much as I should yet, but that’ll change soon :)

For the longest time, I was whining to my dad about getting me a laptop. So finally after almost 10 months of waiting, my graduation gift took effect during the month of December.

I wasn’t really planning to get an iBook cos it’s expensive and all that adjusting issues but I was overwhelmed to have known that their prices went down! Probably due to the new Powerbook out in the market. So before I changed my mind again, I ran to the nearest Apple Center and grabbed an iBook G4, the 12” ~super cute and trendy!

I’m actually going crazy keeping it clean. One minute it’s neat then the next it’s already dusty! Ugh, I just so hate the pollution out here.

I don’t care that Apple’s coming out with another new unit. Heck, this is heaven for me already. White is in for 2006! ;)

maybe this post is a bit premature, but I absolutely LOVE my new 14” ibook. I’m still getting the hang of things, but I am very impressed with what I have experienced so far.

I finally got my iBook G4 14” in September, and have been using it daily ever since. It absolutely rocks, I love it. The screen is bright and excellent quality, the iBook is sturdy and gorgeous, it doesn’t get dirty quickly like I feared, and it just rocks. Love it to pieces, couldn’t image living without it now!
