You can call me weird but I grew up on a church farm with 85 other people. It was cool we all work the fields looked over the animals schooled together. Now that I have 2 kids of my own we came back and I love it. The greatest thing of all is serving God above all.

i’m doing this now, this is now my second winter of living on the land, with a group of guys. we have a sheep and farm birds. its a cross between mad max and little house on the prairie. well worth doing, you will learn much about yourself.
they people I live with are top notch guys. i’m glad to share living space, resources, and life with these guys
I live at a place called the Pink House with seven other people.
It ’s been so great and challenging. You really have to learn to communicate and not put yourself first all the time. It’s also wonderful to have a network of people to rely on. We carpool for groceries, share meals, share computers, share internet, etc. You have to be intentional about it. Just living with others doesn’t create community. It’s definitly worth the work! I’m planning on getting married soon, and we plan on still iving in community.
I moved to uni at the weekend. I live in a hall of residence, so I’m going to class it as living in a community, which it is. It’s a lot better than I expected it to be, actually, but it’s all good.

Currently investigating options.
This one might have to go on hold for a while.
Right now I’m looking at apartments in Boston and contacting some friends about roommates. I’m looking forward to this. I think this will be fun. If and when I ever get married…I’m thinking of living in community with another family. I read an article in the NY Times where two couples bought a nice expensive house in Park Slope Brooklyn. It was a 3 story place. One family on the top floor, another on teh bottom and the kitchen and common space on the middle floor. It was ideal. anyway…that’s it from me for now.
