Bike Across the USA

it is my opinion that having tough skin patches on your rear is a good thing! XD

i would like to bike across the USA because i love being outside, riding a bike, getting to move my legs, and seeing places and people close-up. I guess I would need a LOT of money for food, and probably would have to haul a bunch of food, water, bedding, and supplies on the rack or bring a trailer..
I’d also need to learn more about fixing bikes, and bring those tools in case something breaks.
I would also need some kind of satellite phone so i would always be able to get help if i suddenly had a problem… like being really tired and needing to get picked up :/ lol

I have wanted to bike across the USA since I was in high school. Now that I’m 43, the challenge has taken on new meaning. Now it’s a chance to realize a long-held dream and challenge my physical sluggishness in middle age.
