be more affectionate to Molly the cat

I’m being more affectionate to Molly all the time now and she’s loving every second of it! I’ve been showering her with pats and cuddles and we’re become a lot closer, she so affectionate! She’s even started meowing at me when I walk in the door. She seems a lot happier and really is such a cutie. Goal completed :)

Molly and Luna so much and I’ve only been away for 2 days! I hope they’re okay, and i’m really looking forward to gettting home and giving them big cuddles.

So I really think that Molly is going senile. Her latest thing is that she won’t walk over to her food bowl – she just sits there and meows at you constantly! So i’ve very lovingly been carrying her to her food. I know it’s ridiculous, but hey, maybe it’s her way of wanting love. Today I found her a nice comfy spot on the couch when I moved her from the washing pile, and gave her cuddles when she was frightened from the storm. I am becoming fonder or her, and her weird little ways.

I’ve been consciously doing this. Just talking to her when she’s around, and not ignoring her when I walk past. I’ve been giving her heaps more pats and even some cuddles.

.....but i really play favourites with our cats. We got Luna as a tiny kitten, and we kind of adopted Molly from a friend of ours. Truthfully, I’ve never really liked her that much and would’ve preferred to get a kitten and i feel awful about it! I’m always ignoring the poor little thing, and I know that she can tell. So from here on in, I need to make more of an effort to be more affectionate to her.
