JP Creighton rising to shine on a rainy cloudy May Sunday;waiting for coffee, here.

Receipts found & kept-- cleaning out my desk now 2 years ago

    1. Found in paper sack of ground beef tossed out that same afternoon near a homeless shelter:

    MDSE ST $3.26
    TAX1 $0.09
    TAX2 $0.06

    TOTAL $3.41
    CASH $10.41
    CHANGE $7.00

Now I can throw this away. Next receipt:

Found in an alley round corner from where guest mentioned his arrival; back of The Sentient Bean on College by Forsythe Park:
    1800 USA RAIL
    or

    REG 03-18-2007 10:33 PM

I’ll summarize this one. One time purchase, beer for $4.00, tax figured in or excempted.

I connect the receipt to the person or persons I overheard at the table in the back. Not 100% sure but rather, as the receipt was new, had fresh appearance.

Right now we’re watching Cars the animated comic film. Little Careadh is rattling a plastic container of dry cereal. Wilma just lay down on the sofa, doubled her knees up a bit.

Annie Franck is lying prone facing the telly.

I am to her right, in black office chair, my left foot extended on the support bar under desk.

When you stand up against torture, how is that spam? 17 February 2007 2 years ago

Well, Yahoo kicked part of this out because someone said it was spam.

This Saturday morning, that is, today the 17th of February, I’m busy going through “philanthropy requests.” Here, I ask “Do you honestly believe, feel, or know that torture is an acceptable practice anytime or anywhere? Why or no?” What is your answer to this question which I posed on Yahoo Questions & Answers, whose link is near the top of the Yahoo home page.
The Center for Victims of Torture, located on 717 East River Road in Minneapolis, MN 55455, serves to bring hope and healing to the children & adults who have suffered, or are suffering, from torture. You may call them for more information, should you wish, at (612)436-4800, or go to www.cvt.org
