FrecklelovelyDay 1

Today went through everything I spent in December. It seems I piss money up the wall. Can’t believe how much I spend on food, eating out, and drinking. This has to be the first port of call. 4 months ago

skittledragon£1701

Soooo close… the £1 is the interest I made in a whole year! I need a higher interest account. 6 months ago

skittledragon£1550

£450 to go.

I think my saving is gonna slow down now – I need spends for Portugal in 2 weeks and I’m booking a holiday for Sept/Oct. Sounds silly but I also need to start putting some aside for Xmas present buying purposes so I’m not panicking at the time. Think I will halve my efforts and save £50 a month instead of the £100 I have been doing.

Still, not far to go now :) 9 months ago

skittledragon£1400!

Randomly found a load of Canadian dollars while tidying my room (I went to Canada in 2007!!), and got them changed back into English pounds. I ended up getting more than what I originally used, so I could put £100 of it into my savings :) Really helped bump it up, I think I might just achieve this in less than the 6-8 months I forecast!

£600 to go! 12 months ago

skittledragonOver half way there...

I have £1150. £850 to go! I’ve estimated it will take me about 6-8 months on my current wage. 12 months ago
