Publish a scholarly article

I want to do some economics research and publish my findings. I would feel accomplished and satisfied. Have something to show for myself.

I have an article submitted to the journal, Sex Roles. Just got my second “revise and resubmit” on it. MAJOR changes. It will take days to integrate them. Guess what I’m doing over my “holiday break?”

My second possibility is my dissertation itself. I have already begun revising it into an article length manuscript, but have a long way to go.

I really need one article this academic year to build my credibility in the academic world!
