climb everest

To be on the top of the world..if this isn’t awesome what is..
This is one of my dreams..I mean like a “I am not sure but hope to do it one day” dream…And I really hope to do it one day..
I’ve watched in a movie that someone said it was all dark in the high…and quiet..peaceful..You feel the peace..and you feel God..
You feel nothing and everything..the top of the world..
Or at least that’s what they say..
There was a girl in the movie who said she couldn’t make it to the top because it was very cold and dark even in the lower parts..so I guess it’s pretty difficult..No,I am sure it is..But hope to try..

The part about this dream that makes it almost impossible for most people is how to even get started. I have wanted to climb mount everest from the first time i read about it being the highest spot on the world. But I have no clue what to even do to get stared… it sucks

I have been obssesed with the idea of climbing Everest for years now. I am not sure what the appeal is for me. I HATE cold weather, I can’t stand feeling sick (almost a given with high altitude climbing), and can’t imagine the discomfort of being a combination of sick/cold/uncomfortable so far from home. Not to mention that I have zero climbing experience. All that said, there is something so amazing about being at the top of a mountain and seeing the world from that perspective. I don’t know. I can’t really articulate what the desire is or where it comes from. I just know that someday, somehow I want to try it-even if I don’t make it to the top.

I am making a list of things which I want to accomplish in the next ten years. This is the first thing which started the list. I want to do everything and live life to the fullest and I can’t wait to do this, the adventure has begun.

I want to summit the mountain

My problem is I am totally unfit.

and do something no one else has done on top..like stay overnight…except im gonna be smart and wear a space suit with a heating/ventilation system instead of stupid north face or something puny like that. its 2008 why not act like it? right?

I’d like to get to the top.

this is more of a “once in a lifetime achievement” thing rather than a boyhood dream. it seems anyone can do it if they are fit enough and can afford it. but it would be something you could be proud of and it would make a great ice breaker at parties!! just remember to take a picture at the summit to prove it!
i’m aiming to do this in my 30’s just because of the whole fitness levels you need and the costs.
