jeskahMoved!

I moved to a new place—I was formerly outside city limits.

that means I have (get) to do this again!

Yay! (many more choices of libraries now, not just the one) 3 years ago

BlueEyedLasVeganYesterday's procrastination

Let’s see… Since they are going to put a photo on my library card, I decided I needed to get a haircut, first. Maybe I’ll get that done today/tomorrow. 3 years ago

TigermanKept it in a special place in my wallet

and i practically lived at the library during the last summer of that century. I need to get my records back… now that the internet lets us find just about any book anywhere. 3 years ago

Creature of the night ♥Read!

Now I read more books then when I would just buy them at the bookstore. 3 years ago

SegsyThis has been going well.

I think I can mark this off as done! 4 years ago

SegsyYesterday

I finally took my son with me to the library. I had him pick out two disney movies to watch this week. I had to show my license on check out b/c my card had expired. I will return the movies and Friday and take out two more for him. He really liked going.

Next, we will move on to the books. 4 years ago

jeskahLibrary Card: Done!

Went to the biblioteca near me today. The volunteer had to do a rigorous check to make sure I do in fact live in the district. I passed. She was more than happy to give me a tour.

It’s not a huge library, but it is quaint. It’s not a silent library, either, which is way cool. There is a “quiet room,” if needed, though.

I checked out a David Sedaris on CD for my walks and Wild Swans, a book mom suggested since our visit to China.

Note: They have DVDs, too…could have checked out Six Feet Under there instead of Blockbuster. 4 years ago

SegsyIt's been over two years

since I got my library card. Now I have to use it whether to take out books or videos or whatnot. I can’t believe I have not done this yet. 4 years ago
