get a professional haircut

I have never had a professional haircut…ever. I want to have a beautiful haircut for once.

I hadent gotten a professional haircut in about two years. I just had friends trim it for me. It was so nice to actually go and get it done. I got it cut really short too so it was cool to have a bit of a change, and nice for summer.

My husband and I both got our professional haircut last night.
Now, my goal is to be able to travel to Paris for a weekend of spa and get a professional haircut in Paris. Just as in the movie Sabrina.

I resorted to cutting it myself again, really short. And I wear a lime-green bandana wherever I go. I wear pajamas nearly everywhere so take a moment and picture it, if you will. Me in my tartan flannel pajamas, leather bomber jacket, converse shoes and a lime-green bandana over my badly cut hair. You can easily pick me out on the streets (and pick me off if you wish) so if you see this person, stop and say hi.

Honestly, this do-it-yourself stuff is getting old. My hair looks like it was cut by a blind monkey. At one point I got frustrated and tried to shave my head, but ended up taking off my face and part of my scalp (see my av). Since Katrina I just haven’t had the spare cash for such frivolities. Tom Petty says I don’t have to feel like a refugee. I shouldn’t have to look like one either.
