the mat is still broken..so that makes it kinda hard to really fulfill this goal, but i did it anyway, cos the steps are still showing. it was only beginner workout stages, but i did good! my coordination definately got way better so that makes me proud~

at last after discovering the missing DDR mat that i was sure we owned, i plugged it in and tried to get started. it began to cause troubles when i could not get past the instructions cos the mat sensors have had it. so i had to switch to the contoller and just select everything that way and then dance along with it for the fun. its great, and i am begingn to get a track on it. also its a fab workout! love it! will look into getting a better/fixed/new DDR mat. makes it hard to master the game if the equipment dont work!
The learning curve can be pretty steep, but once you play enough, you instantly see patterns, and barely have to think about it. It definitely feels good to walk into a place and get a AA on some crazy hard song and have people staring at you like you are some sort of god of dance.
Well, my school was having a DDR tournament to support some obscure charity and i decided to pitch in. However, duly noting that seemingly everyone in the place was either a.) Asian or b.) wannabe asian, i decided not to participate. However, at the last moment, the people running it needed someone to lose in a bracket so another person could win. They chose me for obvious reasons, and lose i did.
it was a good experience, all in all.
