finish my web site

I’ve been skimping on working on my web site (the topic of which is hush hush at the moment ;) for a while; it’s easy to do with a partner, a baby, and dozens of chores to get done every day. By the time I have moments to myself, I just want to relax—not research stuff and figure out the intricacies of web design.

But today was one of those rare days that I had entirely to myself. J and the little one are at the grandparents’ house for the night (long, convoluted story that has to do with car troubles), and while I miss them both, I loved being selfishly productive and drinking Red Bull after Red Bull (bad girl!) while listening to my favorite songs on a loop.

I’ve been working on my jewelry business web site like crazy. Hopefully, the same photographer that took the first set of pics will do the second set as well. I know he’s strapped for time, so I’m a tad bit afraid that he won’t be able to do it, but I desperately want the pictures to look consistent. Once that is done, I will be on my way to finishing my site. I anticipate that I will have this all done in the next month or so.

I’m giving up on this goal for now. I took my Web site down completely and have no interest in putting it back up for a while. I’m too focused on work and school to think about freelance or a new job.

Yup. It’s been done for some time. But it might be changing soon…

As I don’t have much time to devote to the site around a full-time job and a young family, it’s taken some time to get it completed. However, it’s very satisfying and well worth doing.
