get rid of the clutter

We had the garage sale this past weekend and I made just over $200.00. Doesn’t really look like I got rid of anything in our apartment, though. I need to rearrange our closets and pack things into containers I emptied.

BUT…I really DID get rid of the clutter!

Oh my gosh…I finally have a date set for a garage sale with my mother. Now to start rounding things up and pricing them.

Boxed up more baby clothes that are too small. Those will be going to my parents’ house to be sorted into what I will save and what I will eventually get rid of.

I finally found someone who will take my old computer desk that is taking up room.

I am also selling my Playstation 2 and all the games, and older digital camera, and my “Twilight” series on www.craigslist.org.

Hopefully I’ll find buyers!

I boxed up more baby clothes my son has outgrown. My mother is horrible about getting him clothes. I have enough for 2 closets…it’s almost embarrassing. I also took out the bags of all the clothes he’s outgrown and went through them, picking out my absolute favorite items and putting the other aside to sell or donate. Going to try to sell them first just because we need the money, but if it doesn’t sell, I’ll donate it to Goodwill.

1. Decide what I haven’t used/worn in the last year.

2. Box it up.

3. Have a garage sale.

4. Reorganize everything else in my house and seriously do some babyproofing.

I am going to finish this by June 01. Then I am going to get organized

Our township does this twice a year. First one this weekend. We’ve already made one trip.

Conquered some clutter and found my Dunkin’Donuts gift card I got for Christmas and ‘misplaced’

Woo hoo a nice empty can for me to fill to the rim!
