get a sea turtle tattoo

thinking of all the creatures that I might get, I decided that lions and dragons and aggressive things like that just wouldn’t suit me. I decided on a turtle because it is graceful and calm and is a sea creature. I love the sea.
The picture is a design my friend drew. I want to somehow incorporate some representation of the British and Japanese isles (my heritage) into the shell design or flippers too.

While I was in Australia I touched a sea turtle, and I decided I needed to get a tattoo of one then. It’s been a year now since I got back, and still no tattoo. I was going to try and get one while I was still there but I ran out of time. So, I’ve decided, Next time I visit somewhere tropical; I’m going to get a Sea turtle tattoo. He’ll probably be on my foot. I’ll draw it myself and probably pay more than I should for it. (picture: place I touched the turtle)

I got the turtle tattoo the top of my right wrist. It is not done yet. Im still adding water and 3 seperate hibiscus flowers for my kids. I have been wanting a turtle tattoo for ever and couldnt find one I loved. I was shopping at Wal-Mart and founf a shirt with a turtle desighn on it and took a pic with my cell phone and that was it. I love turtles and Im so glad i got it done.

I have just a few days left on my tour in Hawaii, going to get a sea turtle (honu) tattoo to remind me of the ocean I love and also because a Honu means family (and my sis is getting one also).

I chose black & gray for the tattoo, however, I color it in with whatever colors I feel like and then it washes off when I shower.

I got a sea turtle tattoo on the inside of my ankle in black & gray and I love it! I’m a cancer survivor and while battling leukemia I began to collect turtles. I’m 1/8th Cherokee Indian and the turtle symbolizes “long life.” As part of my 5 year remission & “Cure date” I got the tattoo in September 2007. I just love it!

but i can’t find a good enough drawing for it…
any suggestions where i could find one?

I love my sea turtle tatto. It is a big tribal sea tutle in all black on my middle lower back. I dont regret getting it at all! It is awsome and I feel much more complete now. I want to get another sea turtle tattoo on my right shoulder blade now and another trible sea turtle on my ankle!Peace out.

Love it! Have had it for about 10 years. I’ll be getting it re-inked soon.
