Stop dating

on the eve of my 50th birthday, i am a little reminiscent about my life and where it ended up, as opposed to where i thought i’d be on july 3, 2009.
i had alot of fun getting here, but now the party’s over. every year more that i get is just a gift. the doctors didn’t think i’d see today.
i didn’t want to exit this place alone,but i have 50 yearsa of training now. pretty lame to not put all that experience to use!

some guy asked me out yesterday. it ended up being a joke, at my expense. i was so angry at him, i couldn’t sleep last night.

Several dates a week? I’m not sure what’s up anymore. Perhaps I just need to STOP DATING. It is so rare for me to feel a spark with someone and although my dating patterns have entertained my friends endlessly (many are telling me I have to write a book about my experiences) I am just not really admiring my lifestyle at the moment. How do you find the kind of men/people you want to date? I’m thinking that just stopping, and not trying for awhile will be the answer.
