I can’t say enough good things about Paperbackswap! I have mailed out 250 books and received about 232. So (yay!) I actually decreased the number of books around here, if only by a little bit.
Even better is the money I have saved, as at least 75 of those books were books I “turned around” on PBS. And I used it to obtain a lot of the required reading material for my son’s Honors and AP English classes.
It’s a great site! check it out if you love to read!

During a pre-move book-purge, I posted and sent out a lot of books on paperbackswap.com.
Now, however, temporarily without extra books, I keep buying credits. They’re about $3.50 each, which is really cheap for a used book, especially a cherry-picked one online.

I’ve been a member of PBS for one year now, and I have to say it is a great site!
In my first year, I have mailed out156 books and received 120. quite a few fo the ones I received were for my son’s literature class in high school. He liked having his own copied of the books they were reading.
Great great site! You should try it if you haven’t already!

It’s been just about six months since I joined Paperbackswap.com. In that time, I’ve mailed out 82 books and received 69 new ones. Not one single transaction has gotten lost in the mail ( I’ve got my fingers crossed!). Lately I’ve been using the site to get the books which are required reading for my son’s English class. I really can’t say enough good things about paperbackswap.com. If you haven’t tried it yet and you love to read, you shoudl definitely check it out!

I’m so happy—Dad joined paperbackswap today too! I hope he enjoys it as much as I have. He’s a much more avid reader, and half the books listed on my bookshelf came from him originally anyway!
Anyway, I posted 5 more books this week, offered 2 for 1 all month on all books on my shelf, and participated in the discussion forums a little to bring more attention to my bookshelf.
If stuff doesn’t move by the end of August, I’m donating it to the library for their book sale in early September.

I’ve swapped about 17 books on Paperbackswap.com in recent months, and I’ve received 11 from my wishlist. It’s been a fantastic feeling sending books off to people who I know want them. I still participate in Bookcrossing for some books, but since I wasn’t getting any journal entries for “wild releases” I wondered if the books I was leaving were wanted. Anyway, I’m giving myself a goal to swap as many books as possible during the month of August before I donate some to a library book sale. in three months. Today is the three month anniversary of signing up for paperbackswap.com, and I just mailed out my 43rd book. And I’ve received over 30 books.
This site is great! Not only am I able to pass along books I’ve read, but I can get a hold of the new ones I want to read.
If you are an avid reader, I highly recommend you check out their site!

...of books is easier than I thought it would be. I have only listed about 20 books and already found new homes for four of them through PaperBackSwap. It’s only been 2 days so far and motivated enough to list more books and let go of cookbooks that I no longer use.

...for a paperbackswap.com account this morning. In the past, we donated books to the library or dropped them off at Salvation Army in hopes that they would find a good home.
So far I have listed 14 books and within the first hour, two of my books have already been reserved. I think PaperBackSwap is a better way for me to get rid of some books, knowing that book will be going to someone that actually wants it.

I’ve sent off at least 25 books now (more if you count using the “send to a friend” feature) and received several in return. I’ll definitely keep doing this in the future.
There’s a big library book sale next month. I won’t feel bad about buying lots of books now that I have a great way to give them new homes.
