lay in the grass and stare at the clouds

Often, after one of our walks in the woods, my love and I will take the time to look at the sky and comment on the clouds. Sometimes I watch his beautiful blue eyes and match it to the shades in the sky, sometimes I close my eyes and allow the sun to wash over me.

The sky is so vast, and taking any amount of time to watch and think and just be taken in by it all.

Yesterday I was laying in the grass and stared to the sky..
unfortunately.. there were no clouds =(.. (the sky was to clear)

But.. there were the leaves of a three.. so I started staring to them ;)

Summertime is coming on fast, like a wave of green grass and warm weather on the horizon! Soon the hippies will start shambling home and we’ll all lay around in the grass together at Lily Ponds, feeling like the world is spinning the wrong way round.
It’s very exciting. :D

the other night i was in Tennessee. Its warm outside opposed to the blistering cold we put up with in chicago. It was about midnight when i walked outside and saw how bright the moon was forcing light through the clouds as the passed closely above. I ended up laying on the driveway until three thirty in the morning just admiring its beauty and the bigness of it all. It was incredible.

Can’t do this currently
No grass is visible and the temp is far below zero
but when spring hits
Bam
that grass better watch out

Thinking back I have sorta done this before
More like gravel and it was a meteor shower
There was a group of us and we all lay down with our heads together like a star
It was very very fun
But our behinds got a little damp (It had rained and we forgot to bring a blanket :)

i`d love to stare up at the clouds, hwile laying next to him

There’s something romantic about gazing up at clouds on the grass…on a warm summers day… :’)

It kind of makes you want to fall asleep because you feel so relaxed

Unfortunately the grass was slightly itchy…but overall the experience was still worthwhile =P

this is a fantastic feeling and is much better shared with a partner <3
