Very interesting. I wouldn’t get like a craving for it, but it’s a great appetizer especially if it’s with garlic…mmmmm
...but I ate all six of the escargots that they gave me! The best part about it was mastering the little tools they give you to eat them. It’s true that because the sauce is so garlicky and buttery you don’t taste anything else, but I still found the texture unpleasant. And because everyone else kept watching me eat them, towards the end I started feeling like I was on Fear Factor eating something far worse, which made it difficult to get the last two down! Worth trying, but I don’t think I’ll be re-ordering them anytime soon.
Tasty! It’s essentially drowned in a very tasty butter/garlic/parsley sauce, so as long as you don’t examine it closely, it’s easy to eat. And really good! I also had escargots in a soup, which was a less traditional way to eat them, but really tasty—you get more of the flavor without the sauce.
with a lot of chopped garlic in butter!! I love dipping hot/warm crusty bread into the butter sauce…..mmmm….magnifique!
