dye my hair a funky color

pink,purple,red
its blue now

Dyed my bangs bright red, and although I felt weird at first, I sort of got accustomed to random people complimenting (and occasionally staring and pointing at) my hair. Now that it’s back to boring, I’m feeling somewhat nostalgic.

Also, though you can’t tell in this pic, when I first started dying my hair red, it was almost all red, but with some white-blonde streaks. Those got smaller and smaller every redye.

Anyways, I have a new dye—a darker shade of red—which will possibly accompany a more dramatic (or at least dramatically different) haircut. If I have the guts, which is seeming sort of unlikely right now. Regardless, I see rainbows in my future.

Black with either red or purple streaks or Black with red or purple tips. I would have to go to a salon to do it, so I will have to wait till I get the money.

My hair is just how I wanted it. Bleaching sections of it was pretty horrifying, I looked like a guinea pig or something with this mess of black and blonde hair half way through!! I was praying it would look okay once I got the red into it and it did, thank God.

It’s black with chunky red streaks, exactly what I was aiming for but now I want it brighter. I’ve found some really shocking bright red semi-permanent dye and when the colour starts to fade a little, I’m going to use that to freshen up my look!

finally growing back I want to do something fun with it. I’ve managed to find a style that suits the length it is now (hurrah!) so now I want to add a bit of colour.

I used to dye my hair all the time but it’s so dark that the most I would get would be a few (red, blue, purple etc) highlights that only show up under the light. This time I’m going to bleach it first! Yes I’m omgfreakingoutsomuch but I think it will look great (if it works!!) and my hair has never been in such good condition so this is the best time to do it!

I got some non-permanent streaks at a beauty supply store. I got purple, blue, and pink. They just wash out, so I guess that’s cheating. But I decided that I’d never be able to pick what color I wanted… so this way I can be a different color every day!!

I think if my hubby was all for it, I would definitely do it. He’s not against it, just not for it…
