raincheck is struggling against some unfortunate situation
after the pool I was 132 lb. I am almost there.
How I did it: it wasn't intentional. I lost ten pounds at college and now weigh 104. I'm gaining weight now, and want to eventually maintain a weight of 110. It startled me, to fit into size 0 jeans, and even more to realize how weak I looked. Read how I did it…

raincheck is struggling against some unfortunate situation
I don’t think I’ll lose 3 lb by Monday, hopefully I’ll be 132lb. This means that I will have lost 8 pounds. Not bad, not bad at all!! (and with -8 pounds I’d mark my challenge as “done”).
However, it’s soon to tell. I might even gain some weight over the weekend. It’s still a long way to go.
froglivers has to buckle up and go get'em.
Well, I just had to go and pack on a couple more, WHILE on the “be sensible and don’t pig out on beer and chips” diet. thud
So, 8 pounds it is, not 5. Who knows. Maybe the “right for me” plan will end up being -5 after all.

I’m 137 lb. – as planned.

Had healthy breakfast and I’m now about to prepare lunch and clean the kitchen.
Now my main concern is not to eat before lunch time and then not to eat between lunch and dinner. I need rhythm.
Stress update: I recovered from my injury, and this puts me in an optimistic mood. Hopefully I’ll manage to stay cheerful throughout the day and not let the fear of the future overwhelm me.

I want to lose weight. It’s high time not to be afraid to be slim. I have to. I owe it to myself.
This is the plan:
- 4 pounds on the first week (27th April-4th May)140—>136 (62kg)
- 4 pounds on the second week (4th-11 May) 136—>132 (60kg)
- 2 pounds on third week (11th-18th May) 132—>130 (59kg)
It is very hard to lose weight, yet I need to believe I can do it!
I can do it…. I just have to do it.
Strategy:
1. plan my meals in advance
2. only buy food once a week
3. do ANYTHING to unwind BUT eat…!
4. daily exercising
5. weekly sauna and steam bath
6. meditate on a daily basis (preferably before exercising)
7. not to give in to outside pressure.
No.3 and 7 are the toughest. Will I succeed? We’ll see…
I want to get back to my pre-babies weight. The pounds have started sneaking on the past two winters, and I want to shed those extra eight.
K~ is thinking of some new goals
when I went on the scale. It was 4 pounds higher than usually (due to having, preparing and finishing the leftovers of a nice brunch…). But the usual was also a bit too high.
So now I am going to lose those 8 pounds to have BMI of 23 (now it’s almsot 25…). And when I reach this goal and keep this weight for a four weeks, I am going to get rid of that first goal of mine (Achieve and maintain a healthy weight).
...Quite a motivation ;-)
I keep saying I need to do this by October 25th but that time is ticking away and I need to get started. Last night we ate at ihop and I had 2 pumpkin pancakes (DELICIOUS!), 2 eggs, hash browns and bacon. Just not the way to go to reach this goal!
