Once again I’ll volunteer for animals and try to find them a home.
How I did it: Found out that my work had a group of volunteers that used to organize events and participate. Signed up for it but could not go the first few times due to work commitments but finally decided to go and re-organize my work schedule. Read how I did it…

How I did it: A lot of it was required for school - making care packages for less fortunate people, volunteering for Relay for Life. How I did it: Just apply and find out if the volunteer work you chose is for you. You'll find out quite quickly if this gives you energy or costs energy. I started as a volunteer at an animal shelter for 1 day a week. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I'm working in a vegetarian and biological restaurant that works only with volunteers, and therefore you can eat there rather cheap. It's very fun to do because the people who work and eat there are often my kind of people. The short conversations we make are mostly interesting (about food, tea, herbs,...) or funny. I'm also aloud to eat for free when I'm working, and the food is delicious and healthy. Read how I did it…

I’d like to do some meaningful volunteer work, maybe in a foreign country.

Is once a month really enough? But all I can do is weekends and then I feel tied down.

The volunteer work I did last weekend was fun, to bad it’s only once a month.

So 6/20 is almost here, I hope I like what they ask me to do. Then I’ll do it again next month.
Not sure what sort of volunteer work I want to do. I am thinking something with children though! I am going to have a look at my options in my local area and figure out what I want to do.
