How to build my own website
How I did it: I got the website several years ago, and it took me a long time to actually get it to a design standpoint that suited me - that's why I say it took me two years. I have finally reached the point where the look and feel of it is perfect for me.
Lessons & tips: No clashing colours, no flashing graphics, no pointless unrelated content that only you will find funny. No moving backgrounds, no harsh fonts, and don't use shitty-looking graphics for banners and such - the kind that look awful and have artifacts all over them. Test all your buttons and links regularly to make sure it all works smoothly, and keep backups of all your files. If you're slow to produce content or don't have time to put it all up on a regular basis - or if you just want a little more stuff on there - maybe find a close friend who can contribute as well. Spice it up. And NO BACKGROUND MUSIC. I close pages immediately that have annoying music playing in the background. It's not your MySpace, it's a website, and if you want people to look at it and read it, make it comfortable for them to do so.
Resources: Experience trying things out; Dreamweaver; writing the html in notepad; seeing my site from an objective point of view

I have a lot of the basic knowledge of website building, but I’ve been too lazy to actually go out and get a domain of my own. I’m tired of having to host all my music on MySpace and my photography on Flickr. So much of my life is digital, and I certainly spend enough time online to have a little chunk of it to call my own. This is another case of laziness and lack of motivation essentially being the only things getting in the way of accomplishing a goal.
I have one that’s pre-designed, but I want to code the perfect one from scratch one day.

Latviete is really tired and would much rather sleep than go to work today.
I wanna create sites where I can remain at little unknow, yet totally myself. Somewhere I can get away from people I know too well.
what makes you happy is basically about life love and hubbies. enjoy reading an everyday blog about life and what came make it 100 % better the way it should. take a walk in the city streets. enjoy urself ladies.
