Be on Survivor

Now all I have to do is wait.

Ever since I saw survivor the reality show it has been my dream in life to be on the show. I encourage everyone that anything you dream and believe, can be achieved! But with the tons of tape auditions survivor receives i realize it’s one in a million to be selected for the show. Even If i’m not selected to get on survivor i want to be able to look back and be content knowing i gave literally everything i had trying to live my “crazy” dream. Sterger on!

On April 1st 2009 I plan on giving up everything in my life to try to make this dream a reality. I’ve applied to be on survivor before but there is no way of knowing if they have even received your tape. So I will be walking from my hometown of Colerain Twp. in Cincinnati, Ohio to drop off my video application tape to Santa Monica, California where Survivor accepts tapes to be on the show. Before I leave I’m donateing everything I own from all my clothes to even renting out my house that I grew up in. I don’t expect anyone to donate with this economy but sometimes knowledge if more valuable anyway. I’m still going to lead by example and donate to my two favorite charities- Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric Aids Foundation and Megan Gore Scholarship fund.

If I can’t make it through the physical, fiancial, and mental aspect of this 2200 mile walk then I don’t deserve to be on survivor anyway! Please pray that I have a safe and successful walk, inspire at least 1 person to live their dream, and ultimately get to live my dream on survivor! wish me luck!

if this would ever happen i’ll be like shocked..im not even from the US….but i might consider temporarily move there when i’m 18..:D:D

There are a bunch of “losers” on Survivor, but it seems to me that every single one of them has a life-changing experience. I’m pretty sure I could handle the people aspect of the game, it’s the survival part that worries me… not sure how I’d do sleeping with bugs and snakes and not eating, but I’d really like to try!

I wish filming for the next season was going to be at a better time for me. If all goes the way I want, I’ll be knee deep in Pharmacy School Curriculum when they’re shooting the next season – BUT MAN, I would so love to be on this show. I used to be an Officer in the Air Force and had to learn to deal with ALL KINDS of people who worked for me or that I worked for – so the people stuff would be a piece of cake for me. And I’m in pretty good shape for a mom of two…so I’m sure I’d kick ass on the challenges too….If only…..

forget it…DEAL OR NO DEAL BABY!!!

Now thinking about it…why in the heck would I want to leave my beautiful wife and kids to go on an island for 39 days to have a small chance at winning a lot of money….when I can go on DEAL OR NO DEAL for one hour and win money!! FORGET SURVIVOR!!!

This is problematic,
Because you cannot go on the show unless you are a US resident.

I wasn’t on Survior but watched some of the season that I missed out on and am glad that I wasn’t on it. However if I was on it then I would have been challenged by some of the personalities which isn’t a bad thing. No challenge- no change …and therefor no growth can happen in me. I might try deal or no deal next…..hhhhmmm

That ‘Americans only’ thing is really a hurdle. Maybe I just have to wait for Canada to get annexed.
