Be on Survivor

I wish filming for the next season was going to be at a better time for me. If all goes the way I want, I’ll be knee deep in Pharmacy School Curriculum when they’re shooting the next season – BUT MAN, I would so love to be on this show. I used to be an Officer in the Air Force and had to learn to deal with ALL KINDS of people who worked for me or that I worked for – so the people stuff would be a piece of cake for me. And I’m in pretty good shape for a mom of two…so I’m sure I’d kick ass on the challenges too….If only…..

forget it…DEAL OR NO DEAL BABY!!!

Now thinking about it…why in the heck would I want to leave my beautiful wife and kids to go on an island for 39 days to have a small chance at winning a lot of money….when I can go on DEAL OR NO DEAL for one hour and win money!! FORGET SURVIVOR!!!

This is problematic,
Because you cannot go on the show unless you are a US resident.

I wasn’t on Survior but watched some of the season that I missed out on and am glad that I wasn’t on it. However if I was on it then I would have been challenged by some of the personalities which isn’t a bad thing. No challenge- no change …and therefor no growth can happen in me. I might try deal or no deal next…..hhhhmmm

That ‘Americans only’ thing is really a hurdle. Maybe I just have to wait for Canada to get annexed.

So I didn’t hear back from Survivor and there is only one week left in the month. I’m figuring I didn’t make the first cut….that’s fine…I’ll send in a video for the next season.

So I made my video. It was 15 minutes of footage that had to be edited down to three minutes. Luckly have have the computer editing knowledge to make it look decent. Then I needed a copy of my application for my NEW passport since I lost mine around the house or garage and can’t find it anywhere. That was a pain because I also had to fill out a “lost passport” set of papers too and go get more stupid photos of my grill and doo to send in. the photo always turns out bad at the DMV.

So I will fed ex it all in today..the deadline is Feb. 3rd. about a million of us are trying to get on the show. they are going to gut it down to 800 and have us meet in cities to interview at length ….IF we make it to the next round.

I’m working out like a mad man…if I don’t get on the show then I will keep up my workout goals….see ya

I finished making and editing my 3 minute Survivor tape to send in. I realized I can’t find my passport so now I have to prove to Survivor the I am filling out a new application for a new passport. 95 DOLLARS it will cost me now….so now I can’t send the tape in until this monday rather than last Monday. Me and 100,000 other Americans….haha…

So I never wanted to be on Survivor in the past. I have seen most of only 3 seasons. I haven’t followed closely at all but I just got this urge in me within the past month to get back in shape and give it a shot. I look at all of the personalities on the episodes and KNOW that I can hang with those people. I’m a quality person and don’t see why I couldn’t get chosen. I don’t know if I could win but I think I could get on. WHY NOT! Right?

So I started back at the gym on Jan. 1st and am sending in my video on Monday the 17th which is 2.5 weeks before the deadline. I already filled out the 17 page application.

We’ll see! I would like to win the bux to help my wife and kids out.
