learn to drive stickshift

all i know is that i fail at maneuvering any vehicle in any sort of capacity, so having a driver’s license is incredulous… being 26 and not having a single thing on my record is overly astounding… i guess i just want to go back in time, now, and see if i can’t take my dad’s old beat up clunker around the back yard. maybe if i had the chance now, i’d be able to miss all the trees and not stall it at every turn…

my friend is selling, maybe i should buy it and learn later!

i ordered a pizza and went to pick it up. i should have walked it took so long.

When I first tried driving stickshift, I flattened and decapitated a “Teacher Parking Only” sign, but I feel ready to try again.

i killed the clutch? $945.

happened strictly out of necessity. and i deliberately used the word “learn” rather than the word “master”, especially since I am a frequent practictioner of what my dad disparagingly refers to as the “Huckle Buck.”

I had a lot of trouble when I was first starting, the car would stop , turn off…but I’ve gotten used to it.
I can’t wait to start driving.

my good friend has a car and he would probably teach me. but my boyf wants to teach me, and i do like his mad driving skills.

i’m still not confident enough in my driving skills to check this one off. it’s fun though. can’t decide if I want an automatic or not when i buy my own car…

the first week i was learning to drive my dad’s 94 corolla, i killed it on highway 60….and i almost died.
