We had a very abundant and wonderful christmas this year! It was such a fun, relaxed day with lots of laughs and plenty of delicious food! We’ve still got a fridge full of yummy leftovers! It was so special to us hosting christmas and being able to bring our families together to share such a special day. I’m so blessed to have such a wonderful boyfriend and family. Definately a beautiful christmas!

I am ‘home’ at my parents place catching up with all my extended family and spending some time on the farm before christmas. It has been really wonderful so far. Yesterday I was just able to relax all day – which is rare for me! It’s been nice catching up with people and the neighbours I grew up with. It’s easy to forget just how many people care about us! Today some of my aunts and uncles are coming over, and I’m going to dinner with my grandparents. I’m definately having a beautiful christmas so far with some very special people.

I’ve been really busy today making christmas cookies to give as presents. I’m so proud – I’ve never made cookies before and they are so DELICIOUS! I think I ate more than i cooked lol. Then I gave some to our neighbours which was really nice. They haven’t been there very long, and I found out we have a lot in common! And they gave the cookies the stamp of approval :) Getting Christmas organised this year has really made me appreciate all the effort my family has gone to in the past to make each christmas special. I’m really trying to add lots of little touches to let people know how much I care about them. Hope you like the pictures! The tree has been demolished by our cat Luna many times – she thinks it’s a huge toy!

This is something that is really important for us this year. It’s our first christmas since I’ve moved in and we’re having our families for christmas day! It’s a really beautiful thing, seeing these people who we’ve brought together – and they absolutely adore each other!
I’ve got the house looking really great. Our christmas tree is white and covered in purple, blue and silver tinsel and decorations. It’s definately the prettiest christmas tree I’ve ever seen – I’m so proud of it! I can’t wait for everyone to open their presents because I’ve really put a lot of thought into them and I know they’ll like them. It’s been so fun getting things organised. I’m putting so much love into it, and can’t wait to celebrate with our families. Tomorrow I’m getting the ingredients to make christmas cookies – yum!
