I started exercising this week, 20 minutes on the treadmill a couple of days so far. I really hope I can keep this up and do it three times every week for the rest of the year to see if it makes a difference.

How I did it: One day I started to leave work an hour earlier to go and exercise, and then I just continued to do so. Today I exercise four times a week for an hour each time. Lessons & tips: Make it a routine, like brushing your teeth. Resources: Gerdahallen

How I did it: I just did it. Sometimes I didn't feel like doing it. Sometimes I made excuses - like it's too cold or I'm too tired, or whatever. But most of the time I made myself go for a walk or jog on those days. I also had my sister with me most of the time. She helped give me a reason to stay on track, and gave me someone to converse with while I walked. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Made it a habit and incorporated it into my routine. There's not a hope in hell I'd make it to a gym. I hate them anyway and find the artificial environment and body-beautiful culture annoying and depressing. Read how I did it…

How I did it: My girlfriend got a gym membership and we started doing this. Really tried and made it regularly every other night after work. Did it for a few months, along with housemates and friends. They showed some progress after all that time, but I still looked exactly the same. Further, all my weeknights were shot, and my chores went undone, causing stress at home. I like going to the gym, but this is not paying off for the things I have to give up. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Just got to jump into it. Once you have worked out for 4 weeks straight (three times a week) it becomes routine. I try to go to the gym at least 3 times a week if not more.If i cant get to the gym i try to go for a walk or do some crunches at home. Read how I did it…
How I did it: i made sure i was motivated to do it. i worked out whenever it was possible for me. usually after i put my son to bed for the night. when i know i'm going to be too tired to do it at night, i make sure i fit in at least 30 minutes during his nap. sometimes i surprise myself and i do a workout at night anyway. I’ve been doing different arm exercises with 8 pound weights, fairly consecutively now for over a month. I can see a difference too, which is really encouraging. The other week, I was able to pick up my friend!
I really don’t have any variation though. And I’m nervous to go to the gym.
At the beginning of every semester, I’m always excited to go. I’ll go for an hour or so, then I’m extremely sore for the next two days, and don’t go back for the rest of the semester. It’s hard to find a good medium…
I’m going to try to hit the gym once a week for starters, and ease into it.
I found something I like doing and it’s just few weeks I managed to exercise regularly. Hopefully I’ll make an habit out of it!
cheers life is a journey :)
I joined this thing in my school called “Walktober” which you log your exercise (mainly walking) and see how much you’ve walked at the end of the month. October is beautiful during autumn and it’s a chance for you to enjoy the season while getting fit. So far, I noticed that the program gave me good reason to exercise and I was amazed with how much walking I actually did within an ordinary day without exercise( between 3000- 6000 steps).
Well, that was great when there is no rain. Today, it’s so gloomy and icky with the rain pouring non-stop. I thought we’re going to have another flood, I hope not because the previous one placed such a huge impact on my local economy. I don’t feel like walking that much with this weather, I mean, I can go to my school’s gym and stay there for half an hour and be done. However, the weather really has an impact on my mood of getting up, be away from my room, and be active. I thought to myself: I need a lot more coffee to help me not to stay this sleepy. So, I finished a whole cup of coffee, it wasn’t too dark ‘cause I don’t want to stay awake all night.
Will coffee help me with this goal? may be.
Are we all need a boost of something once in a while? may be
But I know that I still have the will to exercise and I don’t give it up. Those are good enough for me.
I can not let the rainy stops me from doing what I suppose to do . This mean that my reasonable to-do-list will be accomplish, including this goal.

I was sick, sick, sick in May & June. After numerous expensive and invasive tests, several different doctors didn’t/couldn’t/wouldn’t find anything wrong, didn’t care and didn’t seem to give a rat’s butt about helping me get better.
So now I’m at the chiropractors 3 times a week, and one of the things I do there is exercise.
I’m also exercising at work and home to improve my posture, neck, and ab muscles. So…there ya go.
If you can’t or won’t do it for vanity, you’ll damn sure do it when the alternative is feeling like crap and/or death.

I’m paying for a gym membership that I don’t use. I would love to drop 15 pounds, have more energy, and be more healthy.
I’ve gotten into Russian Kettlebells and over the last month have catapulted from not working out at all to doing 4-5 workouts a week. So this goal is a little outdated for me. I’m about to switch to more kettlebell specific goals. Good luck to everyone!
