see Leonard Cohen perform live

The first song of the night was “Dance Me To The End Of Love” – one of my favorites – and it just got better from there. The band was amazing, his voice was in fine form AND he performed a new song called The Darkness for the first time.

I’m an almost 28-year-old woman and I almost lost my freakin’ mind when this 75-year-old dude sang I’m Your Man. (The videos are both from the show I was actually at.)

I think the most amazing part of the whole night was the fact that he came on stage at 8 p.m., played until 9:15 and after a 15 minute intermission, he came back on stage and played until after 11:30.

Best. Concert. Ever. (I’m sorry, Bob Dylan. I truly am.)

Oh my God, he’s playing Coachella, along with My Bloody Valentine, Morrissey, and many fantastic others. I’d sell my soul to see this.

I cannot believe I am going to fulfill this goal when I see him live on May 9th!

Does anyone know if this would even be a reality? (I live in hope!)
