How I did it: I just am becoming more comfortable with the person I am. And once you are more and more comfortable and loving of the person you are....and not feeling sorry for yourself...it becomes easier to be brave. Because what another person thinks becomes less and less important if you are acting genuinely.
ALSO, it helps that you put yourself in an enviorment that you feel safe. And approach strangers from a genuine interest in something. Notj ust becase they are pretty or handsome. But find something more to appreciate. And you can have a great starting point.
Lessons & tips: Be patient and question yourself at night. Talk to the father and mother in your head. The positive ones that care aboiut you and want you to be YOU..the real you.
And they will tell you the right way. and help them become you. And sooner or later, you won't be able to distinguish the father and mothers voice from your own. And once you can get there and it the same confident voice you've reached a place of comfort. And then the journey to maintain and grow starts.

I just love talking to strangers and I think I should talk to them more often;you never know who you’re going to meet and how much of and impact they could have on your life. I want to talk to everybody.I don’t even care if it’s just a ‘hello’ or a whole awesome conversation.
So i’ve been doing pretty good with putting myself out there. At times i have to force myself to say hello first to someone even if i get a stand offish vibe from them. I don’t want people to see me as unfriendly. I think in time it will just become second nature to strike up conversations with people. I just have to push through the awkwardness.
I am very proud of myself, I have been talking to people when ever I get the chance. I am still not where I want to be. So I will keep working.
Talking to strangers is the greatest thing I’ve ever done. When I lived in DC I would meet people at work, on the metro, at the park, anywhere! Do avoid those creepy ppl who follow u to the car and the ones in the dark alleys, but really you can learn a lot from ppl, and those who no one takes the time to listen to have amazing stories. Do IT
Since I’ve move into a new city.. that means new school.. I just don’t like being too quiet.. so before class.. during the break I always talk with the person nex to me in class..
I also like talking to stranger in waiting line! I’m the type of person who’s gonna have a full conversation with about anything with the employees in the boutiques I shop in.. Strangers are so nice..

I’m actually doing this…I realized that it doesn’t have to be a ground breaking conversation..just hello will do.~Lol
But one thing I am noticing is that in my office I come across people whom I work with and smmile at but never speak to. I end up walking past them ten times and smiling ten times. Afte rthe second or thrid time its just weird smiling…its the whole “I just saw you at the vending machine…let it go” thing.
So I just carry around a sheet of paper in my hand and I “read” it eveytime go past those people. ~LOL
