    I abandoned my flute in high school. I refused to join band because everyone seemed to be such dorks. Went off to college, grad school, became a librarian, love it but always felt there was something missing. Picked up the flute again and feel like that is the missing piece. I have it back in my life again and thoroughly enjoy it but would love to someday join a band and play with others. Kind of scared of it all right now.
