I cannot see a month in the near future (certainly before next year) where this would be practical. I have, however, already cut my spending a great deal so it’s not a wasted goal.

Now I’ve just got to make the food I have left last until thursday -I’m soooooooooooooo sick of the sight of pasta!
This always happens -something always crops up at the end of these £1/day months.
I saw the trailer for ‘OLD JOY’ the other day and now I’m mad desperate to see it as soon as it comes out, Will Oldham in a movie HOW GREAT IS THAT! The reviews are pretty good too, it’s showing on the 31st of Jan and I think I’m off that day but I’ll have no cash! Maybe I can sell something…I know someone in the north who was interested in buying my gorilla suit -I’m not really using it so maybe I could get him to pay me in advance, that should give me the cash to get 2 movie tickets…I’ll email him tomorrow, er I mean today (it’s Wednesday morning 3AM) I’d phone him but I’ve ran out of credits.
sleep now.
So far I’ve spent £15.11 and I’ve got food on the shelf to last a week hopefully -the one thing I’m not buying now I’ve started spending is coffee, I ran out today but I’m trying to cut out caffeine anyway so now’s as good a time as any.
01:20 monday morning, I’ve just got in from work and I’ve got to be up at 7am for an early shift but I’m not tired and I don’t care because this month is as good as done. I haven’t spent any money yet this year which leaves me with £31 to last until the 1st of Feb.
I’m going to pick up some healthy food on the way home from work tonight and cook myself something nice and wholesome -my blood sugar’s been all over the place this last week.
-I’m already salivating :D
I haven’t spent anything yet, and I know I’m going to make it to 14days spend-free.I stashed my debit card and money away on a shelf so it wouldn’t really matter if I was tempted to buy something while I’m out -there’s sod all I can do about it with nothing in my pockets.
Making it tough at the start of the month should give me quite an easy end to this challenge and hopefully I won’t be left with just pennies for the last few days like the first few times I did this.
“The price of anything is the amount of life you exchange for it.”
- Henry David Thoreau
I still haven’t spent anything this year. The week didn’t go too badly though my eating’s been really random. I’m working crazy hours next week so I’ve got to make sure I get organised each morning and quit staying up all night. I went to bed at 8am the other morning then woke up at 12 with just enough time to run to work -got there without any coffee in me looking like Jack Black from the movie ‘Orange County’, classy ;D
Ok, bring on the next week!
