too boring

I’m learning so much about networking by seeing her in action! It’s amazing to learn the difference between networking and using people-networking is an actually sharing while using people is just taking!

I think i am doing it in some ways – have been giving my contact details to a few people these last two days, who are friendly, and in so many ways connected with things I want to do! So that’s good, networking is not something mysterious which I should found out the rules; it is about being friendly, not trying too hard, finding out what people do and let them know what I do or want to do. And in a funny way, it is also about telling people about things that might help them too, to look out for things.

I’d like to create connections which are not deeply emotional and with people who are not necessarily friends. I’d like to keep lines open for people who know relevant information / who could help me and who I could inform / help too. This is networking I think? Rather than looking for meaningfulness, this ia place also to keep it light and relevant – and who knows, with time, maybe a network person could become a friend. But I want to make space for networking too.
