I really need grants for my college that I am going to be attending. It is very expensive, and my sisters are also going to college.
So, I actually was awarded a fellowship this year so that I didn’t have to work but focus on studying and research. It was awesome. This is my last quarter on it…and it’s still not a grant….but it’s money and it looks great on my CV. I did get a small grant earlier on in my studies…so, I think this counts as meeting my goals. However I still need money…so I will probably be more specific about my next grant wish.
going to rewrite the grant proposal, since the research is slightly changed this year…will do it this month.
i get to pick up the grant proposal from the professor and see his comments. oh! i also just remembered that the letter of intent is due tomorrow!!! good thing I wrote this entry today. only thing is, i don’t think i’m registered with grants.gov yet. oh well, the letter is optional…
i have to write a letter of intent by May 24 to submit with my proposed project. i read through the proposal again today and revised it once again.
finally finished drafting the research proposal! now, i have a month to revise it. went to bed at 2am last night, and was so tired today at work, but it was so worth it. :)
the one grant proposal is almost done – i just have to revise it and add a few things to it today and tomorrow.
have some ideas for other i want to apply for. that will be next.
