My darling little Bobbin died earlier today aged about 15.
She lived with me for over 12 years and was a rescue cat that was loved and had many human friends and admirers. I shall never forget her.
Over time she had got better at this goal and I was proud of her even when she occasionally made a bee-line for a glass or cup.
This was one of her many funny antics and always entertained us and everyone else (except for those whose drink it was).

If I can’t stop him from chewing through power cords, I think this goal is pretty impossible absent animal cruelty. I give up.

Hubby says this is the one unattainable goal on my list. I tend to agree but hope that the cat will prove us both wrong.

...will drink anything except gin.
She loves juice (inc orange!), tea, coffee, guinness, baileys, wine, jagermeister, anything.
Luckily she’s not an athletic cat so doesn’t jump onto tables so that’s the only place that drinks are safe.

Seriously. The kids pretty much have full run of the house, which will likely change once the baby is born (I’m assuming they will be afraid of the baby, but we’ll see). I’ve already caught the boy kitty in the crib about 20 times. It would be nice though to be able to have company over without them jumping up on the table trying to eat peoples’ food and/or drink their wine.

She’s just too old to change. (Boy, do I ever know the feeling! Ha!)
