Great source of information on Buddism
Buddism the Religion of nature
This is something I have pondered for some time now….and there is no time like the present to start…..so onward and upward I say.
fourkeeps is getting things done, not slacking
I visited a Buddhist temple in my city. It was a great experience. I am not a Buddhist, so it was something different for me.
I found a very informative site that provides the teachings of Buddhism starting with a very basic guide. I have not read through the entire site yet, but I have begun to understand the basic principles. The fourth noble truths, the 8 fold….
I recommend this site-

I am going to get started with this…. I keep saying I want to research this religion and understand more. I find myself wanting to visit Nepal. Fascinated with the culture and traditions.
Lady Jane has finally made her journal private!
I am certain now that the buddist path is one that i wish to follow. I noted today that the five precepts are not compulsory but they are advised. Nothing in the buddist religion is forced upon the disciple. It is just introduced and recommended. The rules can also be interpreted differently depending on the type of buddist path which is followed. Each day i am going to commit to spending 15 minutes learning about buddism and several minutes in meditation contemplating the meanings and expressions put forth. Along with this i am going to combine my Daily gratitude & Prayer. Not sure which type of Buddism i will adopt yet though. Not only this. I have been speaking with a friend about hinduism and she has given me lots of insights into this interesting religion.
http://www.buddhanet.net is the site i am using for my research. It’s fab and free :)
