I had been talking about having my own sailboat for over ten years. Finally I decided to make it happen, and started shopping. The first few boats I looked at I couldn’t make a deal on, but then found an older Catalina 22 that just felt right. The seller had to sell and made me a great deal, and I was able to fix it up and actually sail it some at the end of last season, and enjoyed it so much. I’m looking forward to a lot of time on it this summer. 4 weeks ago

i did it! it is magical!
i bought a 13’ catboat/bolger bobcat sailboat!
i have enjoyed wonderful stories from the previous owner, who built the boat and i am tenderly rigging, cleaning and making my list of repairs come spring.
i have yet to venture on my first sail in the city…but not without excitement and a sense of adventure! 8 months ago

A Northern 24 1/4 ton;
Designed by C&C, Built in the early 70’s she’s one of the four original prototypes. Similar to later Northern Quarter-tons & the Mirage 24 but with a different cabin layout with wood furniture and bulkheads rather than the plastic found in the production boats.
She’s a tad dirty and not as pretty as other boats but she’s solid has many recent upgrades.
Seven coats of paint and scrubbing, new cushions, a wood ceiling and one of those tiny-tot stoves and she’ll be the pride of lake. 18 months ago
