For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,”made His light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.
But we have this treasure in jars of clay (our body’s) to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. We always carry around in our body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

sometimes it takes the hard time, the dark times, for the light to shine it brightest

I would like to be happy and enjoy everyday. I would like to inspirer people and make days brighter.

I received a necklace as a Christmas gift in 2007 from my friend Josh with this word on it. It has two pieces, a silver bottom piece, just a small circle with “SHINE” written on it and then a second piece lays over top, it’s gold with a star cut out of it. Any picture of me from this Christmas to now is bound to have this necklace in it. I rarely take it off and it has become a mantra for me. A reminder that it is not my place in this world to back down in order for others to feel better than I. I was put here to do good things and to be the absolute best that I can be. I like having a constant reminder of this from a very important person. This person has always seen the good in me even when I wasn’t able to see it myself.

I want to shine...to be who I truly am, to find the joy in life, to share that joy with others, to be constant, to allow myself love and happiness and to do all I can to be a fountain of that for others.

I want to overflow with love, radiance and compassion, in such a way that I spread it “infectiously” to those around me. :) What could be better than that?

You are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it gives light to all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

not care about my hair or if I look awful because the person I am with thinks I am beautiful anyway. Now that is a goal I really yearn for.

Be a shining beacon of light and send it out into the world to heal and inspire.

Well my weight by blood has always been on the bigger side, so I’ve always had some problems, so I’ve been working out and stuff and a girl said to me at school that I look like I’ve lost weight.At the moment it was so much more the a compliment and through out that day I’ve just felt, shiny…

Anther awsome part about this is that the scale didn't move, but I'm way more fit so yeah. My main point was way to get my blood pressure down, tone up, feel better and hopefuly shed some weight, anyway... but It's finaly paying off.
