kayak more often

I checked out the local Army Navy supply store, and got a great deal on a kayak – saved almost $200 on it! And now that the season’s winding down, there are some deals to be had. Went to a sale at my local kayak rental facility, and bought a new pfd with a good discount, and then bought a fantastic used paddle – $130 less than the new price! That’s a great bargain for a beginner like me.

I’ve joined a kayak group through Meetup.com! This will help a lot!

planning to go on a 3day2night kayaking trip a couple months later

Had a beautiful day last weekend and it turned out to be a great kayak day, too! Took about a 7 mile trip into an area with numerous Great White Heron and a few Great Blue Heron!

Bought new mounts so it’s a lot easier getting the kayaks on the truck! Been out 4 times lately and the only reason it wasn’t more is because of the thunderstorms! Great trips, but one was cut short because of weather. I still need to get a waterproof bag for the camera so i can document the trips!

I want to join a kayak club and start in competitions.

I have to get the kayaks out and get them in the water. It’s been two years since I’ve been out and I can’t let it go three years.
