princessTAB trying...still trying...
My friends can wear a sari by themselves, but only few. I am in habit of doing my things, by myself. So just want to wear a sari, because it is our (Indian) traditional attire.
How I did it: Wearing sari is our tradition, most women wear sari. So it was known to me that I had to wear it, and all by myself. So starting early, would make it some what easy. Just saw my mom, aunt wearing sari and practiced it, at free time. I also surf net for this and it proved of immense help.
Lessons & tips: Just practice

They just look so gorgeous, I would love to try, though with my body I don’t know if I could manage it. :(
wearing a sari makes you feel like a princess. once you get the hang of all the tucking and turning to put it on, it’s quite easy to do.
Sari, sari, sari…
I wore it when I MCed for our college Tourism Nite and it was one of the most magnificient, elegant and chic fabric I have ever draped around my body! How strange that a simple 6 yard fabric can look so magnificient.
When you wear a sari, you became a real woman. Not by force, not because you have to…but because sari turns you into a woman. You just automatically feel feminine.
I would wear it again if I could get away with it without being weird (since I am no Indian. :p)
I even ended up buying a sari of my own.
Try it!
