I am currently reading that book! It seems so much like me, with the exception of a couple things… It’s a definite must-have! I thought that I wouldn’t be able to afford everything, but you don’t have to get everything at once. Clothes don’t matter as much as you think they would. Shoes, panties, underthings and jewlery make the outfit. And obviously I have to make a few modifications since I’m in high school… lol! 4 years ago

I read and thoroughly enjoyed Lauren Stover’s The Bombshell Manual of Style. It’s more a profile of the bombshell persona than it is a guide. I found about a half of the stuff applied to me, a quarter will never be me, and the other quarter is comprised of aspirations or aspects of my personality that I would like to work on. Such as losing some of the sand out of my hour glass, being more confident, and openly positive and friendly around people. Here’s the super neato thing- as soon as I really identified myself with the Bombshell Persona I have felt better and more confident. As soon as I decided that I was going to go va-voom when I felt like it, instead of suppressing it, I stopped worrying about if I was dressed right or interesting enough, etc and have really enjoyed myself around other people. And as it always goes, since I’ve felt better about myself, people around me have paid me several compliments. This book is not a serious manual, it’s a fun fluff book, and a tribute to the retro icon type bombshell- but it’s been a huge deal to me so far. 5 years ago
