Well, I bought myself a car, a 98 Subaru. It has a few issues with it, so I’ve learned a few things, such as checking and changing spark plugs, but not too much.
How to learn how to fix cars
How I did it:
- bought a classic car and a book.
- read and watch videos online.
- join group online
- started car talking with anyone that was interested.
- got a job at pep boys and auto zone.
- signed up to trade school for mechanics.
- work on friends cars for free or cheap
Lessons & tips: visualize yourself doing it everyday.
ask tons of questions and listen.
don't believe everything people say. research and read your books. people act like they know more than they know.
humor them when they give you retarded info cause they might not want to share any knowledge if you question them.
tell people exactly what you need help with.
