stcybaby21 is back!!!
i meditated today for my full ten minutes but it was sooo hard. my roommate had just left a mean message on my facebook and i couldn’t stop thinking about it. also, there were these kids outside my window screaming the ENTIRE time. i easily get annoyed though when people are loud or in classes when they are whispering or whatever so during my meditation i realized that instead of trying to stop the entire world of being rude, i need to change myself so that i can ignore it rather than be angry about it. how do to that, i have not figured out yet lol

i meditated today for day 1. it was amazing. i’m having a really hard time with my roommate because she’s always putting me down and is very verbally abusive. i’ve noticed that it is really affecting my self-worth and happiness so while meditating i concentrated on breathing in and out and everytime i exhaled i’d say something positive about myself. it really made me feel better
I would really recommend this. While I was meditating I went through many deep experiences, most of which were joyful and I even caught myself smiling once or twice! I felt as though I was connecting with my true self, and even came up with ideas for songs. It was very peaceful but sometimes the happiness got too much and I found it difficult to stay in that state. I guess we can’t take too much of a good thing and so tend to create problems for ourselves.
