Re-read the Harry Potter books before the launch of Harry Potter 7

I am so thrilled with this series. However, I’m saddened by it’s end.

Well I didn’t make the deadline. There just wasn’t enough time. I did read enough to have important background fresh in my mind when the final book come out. I will continue re-reading this series at my leisure. Thank you to J. K. Rowling for a most enjoyable tale!

aha great !I have finished my reading

I was unable to re-read book 6 before the final book came out. I had run out of time. :( So I’m hoping to re-read the whole entire series again, now that I own all 7. And there’s not much of a time limit this time, so less pressure… :)

In Poland it comes out in January, so this should be quite easy and enjoyable goal :)

I was trying to reread all of the books before I read the last one so that everything would be fresh in my mind. After a week of having the new book I couldn’t resist anymore. I got all the way up to about half way through order of the phoenix. Maybe next time another movie comes out I will reread them all over again because they are amazing books and everytime I see new things and insights that I hadn’t seen before. I just need to give myself more time to read them. I’ve got a couple chapters left in book 7 and then I’m on to my adult book list!

i cheated a little, and didn’t reread the first two. buuuut, i’m so glad i reread “half blood prince”!

I got through Books 1-5, but I couldn’t find the 6th one. I didn’t have enough time to read it anyways, so I read the wikipedia entry on it before reading the last book.

OK, so I didn’t quite make it in time, but I finished Half-Blood Prince Saturday afternoon and finally got to read the first 160 pages or so of Deathly Hallows yesterday.
