Walked for two hours, when you include my jaunt down the hill to the natural food store and back. My body was feeling tweaks by the end. Feels great to stretch my legs and hips. Even got in a few inversions :) 2 weeks ago

My dad teaches yoga in their living room on most Friday evenings. I was in their neighborhood and stopped by for class last week. Felt good at first, but got badly exposed and needed to excuse myself by about twenty min in.
At least I did some :) 4 weeks ago

knew I’d be sore from hiking in the woods behind our house today if I didn’t stretch a bit afterwards. Feeling good so far :) 2 months ago

Been stretching an unwinding a bit lately. Nothing formal or long winded, but feels good to do at least a little. 2 months ago

Ten minutes worth tonight allowed my body to release a lot of tension and my energy patterns to rebalance and become invigorated. In testing to discover that my forearms are holding the most tightness and tenderness tonight. 4 months ago

My body is done with waiting for this… did a few spinal twists, etc yesterday, and some cactus pose so far today. Now going to get on-line, find some yoga classes that will be good for me to go visit, and put them on my work calender :) 4 months ago

so that I can do this on my own at home. Thinking a minimum of sun salutations and a few plank poses throughout the day… 4 months ago

I have modified my practice after being away for awhile. Could not figure out how to balance yoga with qi gong daily. So, I have modified my yoga to 9 sun salutations, forward bend, corpse, and a few other poses that only take about 20 minutes. My body has missed yoga and the stretching and this seems to be just the right amount and balance with my qi gong but is still challenging timewise on the days that I work. One is going to have to go on the days I work.. I;m not sure which one. My mind and spirit crave the qi gong but my physical body craves the yoga 7 months ago

...is key. I have 3 yoga classes a week, and I try to keep my schedule free so that I don’t have to cancel them. Whenever I can’t make it, I make sure that I catch up that same week by attending another class. It helps to keep me on track.
I’ve been needing more sleep lately because of general stress levels, so I haven’t managed to get on the mat each morning, but I can still say that I practice yoga 5 days out of 7, give or take. I’ve even been taking my yoga towel with me on trips, and have taken yoga classes abroad when traveling. I might be developing an addiction… ;) 12 months ago

How I did it: I joined a monthly membership yoga studio where I can go to unlimited yoga classes. I made yoga classes part of my regular routine. If I ever had to miss a class I made it part of my routine to at least do some relaxing poses before I went to sleep at night... some twists or legs up the wall.
It took me a long time to work up to doing yoga that frequently. Also yoga is a priority for me because it helps me to remain stable mentally which is very important to me. Read how I did it… 17 months ago

really awesome yoga class this morning. it was my yoga teacher’s birthday. she did all her favorite poses: puppy pose, half moon (2 of my favorites…) and some twists (which i love), and a bunch of other stuff. it was a great class. 18 months ago
