    SOLD! 4 months ago

Listed a dvd, tested out the 1-day auction and it worked! Someone got a good deal and a great film. I got rid of a duplicate, a couple bucks to buy someone else’s surplus dvds (mighty wind, best in show, gosford park???), and some space on my dvd shelf to fill with the aforementioned new dvds I’ll be acquiring.

I will get a little more organized with all of this as I go – just getting my feet wet.

    LISTED. 4 months ago

A DVD… Didn’t have time to do more but am gaining momentum. At one point I thought I should just dump all this stuff off at a “you sell it” thing “we sell it??” something… I tried to get my sister to sell it… I thought perhaps I’d donate it all? Sell it at a garage sale? But I have the time now – I gotta try to get as much back for this stuff as I can. OK, and so I can buy more fabric on ebay! hee [ssshhhhhhh]

    SHIPPED. 4 months ago

Shipped the thing. Only undercharged $1 on the shipping so no big deal. I was afraid I’d end up losing money on the transaction. JW just pulled MORE crap from the garage that was supposed to be returned. A $25 sweater from Target and some other misc. stuff. ARGH! I must stop “not returning” things. yee gads.

Well, I am enjoying the fact that more $$ in my paypal acct. means more stuff I can buy on the down low. : ) Plus, what’s the point of having all this crap sitting around – get it moved on – let someone else have a crack at it, eh??

Listing a couple movies today – duplicate DVDs… here we go!

listed a toy... 4 months ago

argh. this is something that I thought would be great for JD but turned out to be a few years beyond him yet. I set it aside then forgot about it and now I’ve decided to sell it. I have about 100 things like this to sell (at least). Yikes. I am terrible about returning things. I am pretty organized when I do it but I have long stretches where I can’t keep up with things and then they just get stored somewhere miscellaneous in the house in a cleaning frenzy or JW ditches them somewhere (I think purposely obscure to fuck with me – kind of a gaslight thing) (no, I’m actually not kidding – possibly somewhat paranoid but not kidding)...

Where do I begin? 6 months ago

This goes hand in hand with my goal to simplify my life. Where’d all this stuff come from? and why is it in my home? I give plenty away, but I am sure maybe someone on eBay will appreciate a few of my treasures that are now just taking up space that I need.

I am procrastinating when it comes to the painful task of setting a price and I hate the listing process.
