Get another pet

I have added 3 new dogs to my family. They are all Jack Russell Terriers. One of the best things that have happened to me!

I just phoned animal welfare today to ask for vet recommendations for rabbit neutering. The guy I was talking to left me on the phone!! I was like waiting and waiting and waiting then another person picked up the phone.

he-hello??
me- hello??
he- yes?
me- I’m talking to one of your staff. He told me to wait coz he was going to ask the resident vet.
he- ma’am just bring your rabbit here so we can have a look if we can do the neutering.
me-What? But the one I was talking to earlier said you don’t neuter/spay rabbits????
he-ma’am just bring your rabbit.
me-fine.thank you..

I’m not going there!! Oh my gosh!! Some animal welfare!! The first person I talked to didn’t even know what neuter is!
He was like…what? neuter what? Wait I’ll ask the vet..

“where is that guy??

I’m ecstatic right now. I didn’t get a dog, I didn’t get a cat, I didn’t get a bird..blah blah blah…but I’m going to mark this done because my baby rabbit has given birth. I’m a mommy again. :D

just thought I’d upload a pic of my babies. Well they don’t use that cage anymore. They have a more spacious home now c/o my dad. lol..

I own a rat called Ruby, who thinks she’s a dog lol, my youngest sister owns a guinea pig called Harry(i named him lol he looks like a Harry), who is the biggst guinea pig i’ve ever seen and is so funny! lol

We were going to get a cat but the area we live in is overrun by foxes, it wouldn’t last 5 minutes :(

I wouldn’t mind getting another rat, or guinea pig and i’ve always wanted a dog, we have a massive garden! but the fencing needs sorting out and we’re redecortating so its going to be a couple more years, ive already been waiting 7!!!!!

sigh…just last friday morning a stray kitten got inside my room. I don’t know how but when I woke up there it was on my bed. I was shocked when I saw it of course so I shooed it away. S/he went to my parents room. I left it there and went straight back to sleep. When I woke up just minutes after, I went to the other room to see if s/he was still there and to my surprise s/he was. I called it and it came running towards me(I was surprised that s/he wasn’t afraid and honestly…s/he looked excited). I went down and was calling the kitten and s/he followed. So I went to my mom to show her the kitten. S/he was really sweet. I was going to go back upstair and I left the kitten downstairs. As I reached the living room s/he saw me going away and ran really fast towards me(it was funny coz he ran towards my feet and bumped him/herself). I fell inlove with the kitten after only a few minutes of being with him.

The sad part…
When my mom woke up the next morning she saw that the kitten had pooped downstairs. When I woke up I asked where the kitten was and she said it followed her outside and didn’t come back. I don’t believe her story because when I woke up she was still wearing her PJs and she never goes out wearing PJs nor would she change clothes to go out and wear Pajamas again when she returns home(duh!). I know she was mad at the kitten for pooping inside the house. I just wished she understood that the kitten is still young and still needed to be litter trained(just like the rabbits). I feel so so so sad coz I miss the kitten so so so much!!! I thought someone would finally be there waiting and excited for me to get home. S/he was really sweet. I miss him sooo much.

I’ve decided not to get a puppy yet. Responsible thinking…I won’t be able to take care of him/her if s/he gets home coz of my schedule. Will be doing a lot more reading on how to take care of puppies first.

I decided I’ll get a toy poodle instead. they are easier to train and I had a problem with the shih tzu pups and how they are planning to breed it without knowing a thing about breeding. A bit annoying really. Doing it just for the money.

My cousin’s dog is pregnant and I already asked her for one. It’s a shih tzu. Animals are great. My rabbits are already huge after 2 months of being with me. They make me happy when I’m sad and they love me unconditionally.
