~ John Lee ~ setting my sights lower so I can set them higher
Right now I am hoarding my miles, earning them for non-flight activity. It doesn’t protect my elite status, but I am accruing miles almost daily.

I used to collect them on everything; credit cards, cereal boxes, restaurants. I used 75,000 miles for a round-trip ticket to Australia. It worked really well; I saved a thousand bucks and I think it made me more patient.

Between all of the miles earned flying, credit cards, shopping on line through the airlines websites, and grocery miles, I have traveled coast to coast on miles several times. It’s so worth doing!
I currently have quite a lot on account of flying so much earlier in the year, so I hope to be able to use them soon.
Week after Christmas – 2 roundtrip tix to Vancouver to go snowboarding in Whistler :)
Tomorrow – 1 roundtrip ticket to Houston for my dad’s funeral in Texas :(
I’ve got about 15k miles left….
I’ve gone so many places on miles—Toronto, Salt Lake City, Hawaii, China…I’m even using miles to go see my good friend in Texas soon. I’m not earning them as much anymore these days, so I’m trying to enjoy it while I can.
Adar is back.
I’m always tickled, as if I’m getting away with something.
As for where I’d go, take a look at 43Places… I’ve got plans.
