Amsterdam

here we go. I’ll be off on Thu on my Journey East. Off to Amsterdam to walk my way. I have to say that it’s finally dawned on me that this is happening; I’m a wee bit scared. But it’s exciting as well and I figure no real adventures leaves you without that semi-nauseous heady feeling. ::leap::

The day comes closer and closer and the less I expect for it, the lovelier it seems. I’ve stocked up on notebooks and pens and other methods of capturing my time and travel.

I’m going at the end of May! Will be my second trip, but this one will definitely last longer than my one day there ;)

Love Amsterdam, love the people, the food, the diversity, the architecture, all of it. Annie and I are having a blast. We saw the Anne Frank house and a fabulous show of Shirin Neschat’s Video Installation at the Stedelijk Museum CS at the Postoffice building. A creepy place, but a great exhibit. Don’t miss her installation on the second floor.

Happiest place on earth. For All the obvious reasons. As the saying goes “Why Disneyland, When You Have Amsterdam” Been there 7 times in 3 1/2 yrs, going back again in 5 mths. Can’t wait to visit Barney’s, Softland, The Noon, Bluebird, Anyday, Grey Area & sooo many others. The Cup in Nov is a trip too.
